Started as a web developer intern in 2019 and grew into a full stack engineer: building Angular single-page apps, RESTful Express/MongoDB APIs and Facebook Messenger automation.
What I did
- Designed and architected single-page applications with JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, RxJS, SASS, Bootstrap, Git, HTML5 and CSS.
- Created RESTful endpoints with Express, TypeScript, MongoDB and Mongoose.
- Applied object-oriented design and SOLID principles in TypeScript.
- Connected to asynchronous RESTful services using Promises and Observables.
- Automated Facebook Messenger bots by integrating the Facebook developer APIs and webhooks.
- Communicated with multiple APIs using secure handshaking authorisation and SSH key pairs.
- Refactored applications for page-speed optimisation, fewer asynchronous requests and lower memory use.
- Earlier, as a web developer intern (Jun 2019 — Aug 2019), built a manpower management system with Angular, Bootstrap and TypeScript on the Apex admin template, integrated with Laravel APIs.
