Owning architecture across a micro-frontend, serverless platform: from AWS infrastructure as code and event-driven backends to an AI chatbot that lets businesses talk to their own review data.
What I did
- Architected scalable micro-frontend and serverless applications with Next, React, Vue.js (2 & 3 Composition API), Node.js, Express.js, Nest.js and an Nx monorepo.
- Built and shipped a customer-facing AI chatbot using LangGraph, LlamaIndex and Qdrant, so businesses can query their reviews and explore feedback analytics in natural language instead of digging through manual reports.
- Optimised transactional and analytical database performance across MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Mongoose and ClickHouse.
- Led cloud infrastructure across AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, Amplify and CloudWatch for scalability, security and reliability.
- Designed Infrastructure as Code with AWS CDK and Terraform for automated provisioning and consistent multi-environment deployments.
- Designed event-driven serverless architectures with Lambda, SQS, SNS and EventBridge.
- Drove CI/CD modernisation through trunk-based development and GitHub Actions automation.
- Set up AI-assisted engineering workflows with Claude Code agents, Cursor AI and CodeRabbit automated PR reviews.
- Built centralised observability and alerting with CloudWatch, New Relic, Sentry, Slack and email integrations.
- Strengthened platform security with CSP policies, secure authentication flows and XSS mitigation.
- Engineered Kafka-based MongoDB-to-ClickHouse sync pipelines for near real-time OLAP analytics and reporting.
- Expanded automated testing with Jest, Cypress E2E and integration pipelines for mission-critical financial features.
