Built enterprise-grade insurance platforms in strict TypeScript and led integrations with major global insurers, automating policy, quotation and claims workflows.
What I did
- Architected and implemented a RabbitMQ message-queue microservice for efficient communication and scalability across distributed systems.
- Built enterprise-grade insurance platforms with Node, Express, TypeScript (strict mode) and OOP design principles.
- Translated Figma designs into a single-page application using React and Next.
- Led integrations with AIA, AIG, Zurich, Allianz and Takaful Malaysia over REST and SOAP, automating policy, quotation and claims workflows.
- Designed, optimised and managed SQL databases with complex queries and Sequelize ORM.
- Wrote SQL migration queries to align the live database with upcoming deployments while preserving data integrity.
- Worked with stakeholders on the Duda platform, building custom widgets and sections to meet client needs.
- Broke product capabilities into epics, user stories and tasks, estimated with planning poker, and ran regular refinement sessions in an agile workflow.
